Eastside Movers LLC ("we," "us," "our") is a moving company doing business as Eastside Movers from a public office at 392 Union Street, Franklin, Massachusetts 02038. The legal entity is registered as a New Hampshire LLC. This privacy policy explains how we collect, use, and protect personal information you share with us through https://eastside-movers.com or by phone, email, or text.
What we collect
When you request a quote or contact us, we may collect:
- Name, phone number, and email address
- Origin and destination addresses for your move
- Move date and approximate move size (rooms, weight estimate)
- Specialty items (piano, gun safe, etc.) and access details
- Any notes you choose to include
When you visit our website, we automatically collect standard log data (IP address, browser type, pages viewed, referring URL) and analytics events through Google Analytics. We use cookies for essential site functionality and analytics.
How we use it

- To schedule, dispatch, and complete your move

Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with: (a) our crew assigned to your move, (b) our scheduling and CRM software (SmartMoving), (c) payment processors when you pay us, and (d) law enforcement or regulators if legally required. We do not share your data for third-party marketing.
SMS / Text Messaging (TCPA)
By providing your phone number you agree to receive transactional SMS/text messages from Eastside Movers related to your moving quote, scheduling, crew arrival, and follow-up. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help. See our full SMS Terms.
Mobile information sharing: No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Information sharing to subcontractors in support services, such as our scheduling/CRM software (SmartMoving) and our customer-service team, is permitted as necessary to deliver the moving service you requested. All other categories exclude text-messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
Your rights
California residents (CCPA): You have the right to know what personal information we collect about you, request deletion, and opt out of any "sale" of personal information (we do not sell). Email info@eastside-movers.com with the subject "CCPA Request" and we will respond within 45 days.
EU/UK residents (GDPR): You have the right to access, correct, delete, or port your personal data, and to object to processing. Email us with the subject "GDPR Request" and we will respond within 30 days.
All users: You may opt out of marketing communications at any time by replying STOP to texts, unsubscribing from emails, or calling us at (774) 462-2439.
Data retention
We retain quote and move records for the period required by Massachusetts law and our insurance carriers (typically 7 years for billing records, and as long as legally required for safety and regulatory compliance).
Security
We use industry-standard safeguards (encrypted database access, TLS in transit, role-based access controls). No internet transmission is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Children
Our services are not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.

We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision.
